Storm Drain Marking

Help us protect the area’s most valuable resource– our water! Join Wendy from Friends of the Manitowoc River Watershed and get your civic engagement on! Wendy will begin in the Community Room with a demonstration using an Enviroscape Model, giving examples of how pollution on the surface of our landscape can lead to water pollution in our lakes and rivers. Then, Wendy will lead the group in marking storm drains around the YMCA neighborhood, encouraging residents in the area to consider aquatic life and human health before discarding harmful materials/litter near the drains.  Meet in the YMCA Community Room.
