Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA Earns Praesidium Accreditation

National accreditation recognizes the YMCA’s commitment to abuse prevention and the safety of those in its care

MANITOWOC, Wis  The Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA is proud to announce that it has successfully earned Praesidium Accreditation, a nationally recognized distinction reflecting the organization’s commitment to abuse prevention and creating safe environments for children, vulnerable adults, members, staff and volunteers.

Praesidium Accreditation is a nationally recognized process that evaluates how organizations prevent abuse across key areas of their operations. Through a comprehensive review of policies, training, screening, monitoring and other safeguards, organizations must demonstrate that strong systems are in place to protect those they serve.
